About Ardura
Ardura is the bioluminescence, the glow that comes off the Adriatic at night when you trail your hand through it. It's a Dalmatian word for something most visitors never see. We took the name because that's the kind of thing we want this to be about: small, specific, only here.
We're a Šibenik-based boat tour operator. We run tours from the same riva. We're small on purpose: three boats, never more than 11 guests on any tour, because we'd rather take fewer people out and have it be a good day than fill a 50-seat boat and lose the point.
Three boats
Valiant (7.5m RIB)
Our adventure boat. Fast, open, built for sea state. We use it for Kornati and the wild dolphin tour, where the open-water crossings need the right hull.
Runs: Kornati · Dolphin · Riviera · Panoramic
Max 11 guests
Roko (7.5m RIB)
Same class as Valiant, used interchangeably. When the Riviera fills up on a busy day, the two RIBs split the group.
Runs: All routes Valiant covers
Max 11 guests
Damor 900
A Croatian semi-displacement boat with shaded seating. Slower, calmer, better if you'd rather cruise than fly. It doesn't go to Kornati or the dolphin area. The range and sea state aren't right.
Runs: Panoramic · Riviera · Krka Transfer
Max 11 guests
A few things we believe
Max 11 guests, always.
Not because it's a luxury thing, but because past 11 the day stops working. Nobody gets to swim properly. The skipper can't talk to anyone individually. The cooler runs out.
Drinks are already on board.
Beer, juice, water, iced cooler. You shouldn't have to buy a bottle of water on the boat you've already paid for.
We tell you what's included before you book.
The lists on every tour page are the lists. We don't have hidden surcharges, and we won't sell you a ticket and then mention a €40 park fee at the gate.
We don't sail in unsafe weather.
If the forecast says no, we cancel. You reschedule or get a full refund. We've been doing this long enough not to gamble.
