Three islands, two swim stops, one blue lagoon
This is the classic Šibenik archipelago day. We leave from the riva, cruise out through the St. Anthony Channel (past the UNESCO fortress on the way), and head into the islands. First stop is Zlarin, the old coral island, where you can walk the harbour or grab a coffee. Then on to the Blue Lagoon at Tijat, sandy bottom, water you'd swear was lit from below, for the main swim stop. Paddleboards, underwater scooters, and snorkeling gear are on the boat.
From there we cross to Prvić, the closest of the islands to Šibenik and the one almost nobody plans for. You'll have time to walk between Šepurina and Luka, or sit at a konoba, or just keep swimming. Then back to Šibenik.
Total time on the water is around six hours. Most days we leave around 9:00 AM, exact available times shown when you check availability.
A note on the "Blue Lagoon" name
Yes, it's called the Blue Lagoon. So is a bay near Trogir, two hours away, that gets marketed harder. Both names are inventions. Locals call ours Tijašnica. The water is the same impossible blue. Ours just has fewer day-trip boats in it on a given Tuesday.
The route
- 1 Depart Šibenik riva Boarding at the riva booth, or a free boat pickup from the D-Resort pier, the main pier in Vodice, or your arranged spot at Amadria Park.
- 2 St. Nicholas Fortress Out past the 16th-century UNESCO fortress at the channel mouth.
- 3 Zlarin Croatia's car-free coral island. Walk the harbour, swim, or grab a coffee.
- 4 Blue Lagoon at Tijat The main swim stop. Sandy bottom, shallow water. Paddleboards, scooters and snorkel gear out.
- 5 Prvić Šepurina The quieter Prvić village, a row of stone houses along the water. Walk, swim, or sit at a konoba.
- 6 Prvić Luka The harbour village a short walk over, home of inventor Faust Vrančić.
- 7 Optional lunch at Stara Makina A small konoba on Prvić, around €20-30 pp paid directly. Skip it if you prefer; we wait either way.
- 8 Return to Šibenik Back through the channel to the riva.
Stops and order shift with wind and sea. Your skipper runs the best version of the day, not a fixed clock.
